Huntington Beach I (overcast) |
Today, |
the clouds |
are timid, |
never once |
daring to leave |
their tight embrace |
of the sea |
Huntington Beach II (clutter) |
A dirty beach -- |
here where I stand |
scattered pieces |
of peoples' lives |
clamor for |
the attention |
of the beleaguered sand |
Huntington Beach IV (overcast) |
They possess it completely, |
greedily stretching |
their dingy sheets |
across unseen sky |
leaving us |
grays -- |
and a tired ocean |
