equinox

I'm wearing
my summer skin
agreeably permeable to
supple touch and
warm approaches
unencumbered of clothes,
a warmer spectrum
not adverse to thoughts
of wind on my thighs,
sandals,
             or sand on my toes,
dream streamlined
otter-sleekness
belly-button-bare,
             disarming
             sudden
             dazzlement
of shoulders
bared in the breeze,
             to drink,
long toasts to sunlight -
warm-afternoon harmonies
in brown-skinned earthtones.
